Welcome!

Welcome to the Revit Garage!

I have been using Revit MEP since the day it was released as Revit Systems. It has been a challenging learning process and there is still much more to learn. Many people won’t touch the software with a ten foot pole, but I immediately saw its potential and was eager to dive in and learn how to use it. The purpose of this blog is to share my opinions and experiences (good and bad) with Revit MEP.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy my blog entries and feel free to leave comments. I’ll try to update the blog on a regular basis but can’t make any guarantees.

  1. Jason,

I had a question I was wondering if you might be able to help.

Does you have any idea out to model a PDU or an RPP? The part I am having a hard time with is when you create something new you can not give it the parameters of having a transformer and a secondary voltage, the same goes with when you start with a transformer you can not give it a parameter to see a panel schedule. Does you have any idea how to do this or get around this?

The RPP might be a little easier I guess since it really is just two different panels served from two different locations, but still any ideas?

    Thank you
    Chris
